Lavington Stud is one of Britain's longest-established stud farms, set in a beautiful and tranquil location at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex.
Renowned for its professionalism and high standards of care, Lavington Stud achieves consistently impressive results both at the sales and on the racetrack.
Its exemplary facilities for mares, foals, weanlings, yearlings and stallions, unrivalled on the South Coast, include 340 acres of railed, grassland paddocks fed by natural spring water, and a large number of specialised and scrupulously maintained yards and boxes.
Lavington's highly experienced staff - some of whom have worked at the Stud for more than 25 years - ensure the very best care for the horses.
Founded by Lord Woolavington in 1890, the Stud remains a family business and
is now owned and run by Alastair Macdonald-Buchanan.
